The study aimed at determining the influence of different methods of lying that soil fallow on its infestation of pathogens developing on leaves, and heads as well as those damaging the base of stalk. Spring rape (control), black fallow, herbicide fallow and three variants of green fallow under white mustard, Persian clover and Italian ryegrass were the previous crop of the winter wheat. Zyta cultivar winter wheat was sown during the second decade of September at 500 plants/square m, i.e. ca 275-280 kg/ha. During the vegetation period the intensity of leaves, heard and stem base diseases was investigated on 25 random selected plants from each repetition. It was established that previous crop caused significant diversification of winter wheat diseases presence
