Nitrogen fertilization and yielding quality of winter wheat
2008
Budzynski, W. | Bielski, S.,Uniwersytet Warminsko-Mazurski, Olsztyn (Poland)
The aim of the study was to determine the effects of different levels of nitrogen doses on the grain yield of winter wheat cultivars. The field experiment with nitrogen fertilization of winter wheat was carried out on a good wheat soil in 2002-04. The first factor of experiment was nitrogen doses and methods of its application: the second were three winter wheat cultivars: Korweta, Mewa and Slawa. It was shown that all examined cultivars reacted similarly to increased nitrogen doses. The effect of nitrogen doses on yield components was formed for each cultivar by weather conditions. The highest yield of grain was obtained by cultivars Mewa and Slawa, net productivity of nitrogen ranged from 31 to 18 kg grain
