The effect of differentiated nitrogen rates (from 60 to 180 kg N/ha)) on grain yield and basic technological parameters of grain-milling and baking indices of flour of so called quality (Pegassos and Korweta) and bread wheat cultivars (Mikon and Rysa) were determined in field study. It was found that when grown on good wheat soil the best yield was obtained by Pegassos (76.2 dt/ha). Lower yield (by 7 dt) was noted for bread cv. Mikon and the lowest yield level (lower by 13.6 dt) was found for two other wheat forms - Rysa and Korweta. Studied genotypes showed similar response to nitrogen applied. The best parameters of milling value and baking value of flour were found for bread cultivar Rysa
