The conducted studies indicated a positive response to sulphur fertilization both in plants cultivated in pot experimentation and those in micro-plot experimentation. At the same time, the response dependent on soil granulometric composition. The research on determining plant fertilization requirements showed the with mustard to be better test plant than spinach as all the indices for white mustard under study (fresh mass yield, dry mass field, sulphur content, sulphur uptake) inicated a stronger correlation to the amount of sulphate sulphur extracted from the soil
