The aim of the study was to estimate the effect of the sowing time of white mustard cultivar Nakielska cultivated in intercrop on the biomass yield and structure. Sowing time was the variable factor in the experiment. White mustard was sown at ten times from the half of July to the half of September at intervals of seven days. The length of the vegetation period of white mustard from successive sowing times ranged from 105 to 48 days, and the plants at the moment of harvesting were at different development stages. Variable pluviothermal conditions in the years of study affected a variability of the yield height and structure of white mustard biomass. The highest yield of green matter was obtained from white mustard sown at the times from the end of the first decade to the end of the third decade of August (09-31.08)
