Ranking of counties of AP [the Autonomous Province of] Vojvodina [Serbia] in livestock production

The paper relates to the analysis of realized results in livestock production of AP Vojvodina during 2004. Production results are the following: the number of cattle/100 ha of cultivable area, the number of pigs/100 ha of arable land and the number of sheep/100 ha of agricultural area. These results are analyzed by ranking of counties of Vojvodina. Concerning the average number livestock, first rank belongs to North Backa county for cattle, first rank belongs to Sremski county for pigs and first rank belongs to North Banat county for sheep. The values of Kruska-Wallis tests are not statistically significant for the number of cattle and pigs comparing the counties of Vojvodina, while the results of the same test are statistically significant for the number of sheep.
