Molybdenum is an essential element for herbs and animals. It is irreplaceable ingredient and an activator in enzyme system. In practice surplus of molybdenum may present a problem in nutrition of animals. Therefore, determining content of molybdenum in feed has practical importance in norm-setting of a meal. In order to obtain data in content of molybdenum, 30 samples of different feed and mix were examined. Content of molybdenum was determined using atomic absorber, applying technique of inductively coupled plasma and the results are expressed in milligram/kilo in air dried samples. Measuring showed that content of molybdenum in all the samples was below maximally permitted content 5 mg/kg.
