The most significant aspects of hygienic farm water quality

In this paper are presented hygienic aspects of water on farms. Waste materials and other type pollution, such as pesticides, bacteria and protozoa have significant influence on water quality. Ammonia, phosphates, organic wastes, antiparasitics and disinfectants contamination are also given in this paper, as well as bacterial contamination caused by Salmonella spp., and protozoan contamination caused by Crysporidium and Giardia. Measures for contamination reduction are also given.
