Probiotics, such as lactic-producing bacteria, Bacillus spp. and yeast have been reported to improve microbial balance in the gastrointestinal tract through bacteria antagonism, competitive exclusion and immune stimulation. Results of piglets performances showed that the control group, on the diet containing no probiotic, realized average daily gain 347 g, with feed consumption 0.792 kg and feed conversion ratio 2.33 kg. Nutrition with the diets, in which probiotic was incorporated, gave improvement of gain by 5.48% and feed conversion ratio by 4.48%, and feed consumption by 2.78% in the comparison of control group of piglets. Probiotics had shown their positive characteristics in weaning pigs (body mass) which was reflected in a better digestibility and better growth. The better 5.5% greater growth than in a group without probiotics.
