The theoretical and practical matters state and development of fruit and vegetable complex, its role and significance in food security provision are considered. The evaluation of the modern status of horticulture and vegetable-growing branches in Tambov region and the factors, determining the effectiveness of their development is given. Some positive changes in market current situation of consumer and raw markets are pointed out. The tendencies of development towards canning industry, that recently flourishing, are discussed. The mechanism of distributive relationships has been proposed, the methodological basis for regional structure development in perspective is given. The mechanism of integrated production functioning can operate according to the following scheme: agricultural enterprise –machine-technological station - cannery.The book is intended for scientific workers, teachers, students of high and professional institutions.
