Particularities in agronomy of forage Sorghum and Sudan grass in agro-ecological conditions of Vojvodina Province [Serbia]

The paper emphasizes the importance of forage sorghum and Sudan grass in animal nutrition. Peculiarities in production technology with respect to utilization, crop rotation, tillage, fertilization, time and mode of sowing as well as crop mowing are taken into consideration. Production in irrigation conditions have also been analysed, such as the effect of irrigation on green forage yield, plant water requirements and preirrigation soil moisture.
