Potassium iodide was used in feeding of laying hens to obtain iodized eggs. The hens of the 1st and 3d groups received this salt in a gradually increasing dose from 1 to 9 mg I/ 1 kg all-mash. On the 6th test week the maximum dose was reached. The hens of the 2d and 3d groups received the probiotic preparation Lactoamilovorin added to water on a dose 0.3 g/l. Feed consumption in the all test groups was higher than in the control one, but the feeding lipids were worse assimilated in the 2d and 3d groups. Hemoglobine and total protein content of blood serosity were higher in the all test groups in compare with control one. The parameters were maximal for the 3d group. Iodine accumulation in protein raised up in 4.09 times in the eggs of the 3d group hens in compare with control one, it did in egg yolk in 4.25 times. The same index for thyroid gland was on 16.0% and 19.3% higher in the 1st and 3d groups respectively; it was for pectoral muscle and femoral one on 44.4% and 61.1% respectively. The conclusion is that the injected probiotic preparation has a positive effect on iodine absorption and concentration in laying hen organisms and it allows to obtain iodized products of poultry farming.
