Selective estimation of winter rye inbred lines on viscosity of a water extract

The authors made a comparative estimation of winter rye inbred lines from 8-12-times inbreeding on viscosity of their water extract and other quality parameters. The opportunity of selection low viscosity lines of rye with the increased contents of protein in grain was shown. The greatest distinction between lines was noted on viscosity of water extract (6,6 times) and the least on protein (1,7 times) and starch (1,3 times). The link sided asymmetry of variational series in lines on viscosity of extract was revealed. The relatively low grain viscosity formed in damp during maturing grain year and higher viscosity formed in droughty one. The low viscosity genotypes had smaller environmental variance than high viscosity ones. Viscosity of an extract negatively correlated with the contents of protein (r =0,15-0,40) and positively correlated with number of falling (r =0,14-0,35). The correlation with starch was unstable on years.
