This paper analyses the angle of a handle grasp and angle of a manual pneumatic hammer axis slape in relation to horizontal direction the working process. The analytical procedure conducted confirms the empirical finding that the grasp should be cylindrical, i.e. that the worker extremly strong tiht. Taking into account the dimension of pneumatic hammer and average height of a worker, the vertical position of a manual machine and horizontal position of the fisis is best suited fur the optimal vibro-comfort. In such a case the best working position is the one with slightly bent kness and widen legs.
