The influence of air temperature on the concentratioon of spilled diesel fuel D-2 and relative concentration of n-alkalines in the upper layers of soil has been explained. The research has been aimed at four layers of sand (0-5 cm, 5-10 cm, 10-15 cm, 15-30 cm) and at two layers of clay (0-5 cm, 5-10 cm). The air temperature in range from 20 to 40 deg C has signficantly influenced spilled diesel fuel concentration especially in top layers of soil. The influence of air temperature on the concentration of spilled fuel in the top layers of soil can be expressed by exponential equation and polynominal. The air temperature has influenced the distribution of n-alkalines relative concentration in all layers of sand and clay. The influence has been the most significant in the first layer (0-5 cm).
