Bacillus subtilis and Bacillus licheniformis as a probiotics in chicken nutrition

Probiotic preparation based on Bacillus subtilis and Bacillus licheniformis was applied into chicken feeding mixture. Our study was aimed to investigation of the microbiological properties chicken meat. We have followed total count number of microorganisms in the GTC agar, by 30 deg C and 48 hour, number of coliforms bacteria in Lactose Bile Salt agar, by 37 deg C and 24 hour and number of mesophilic anaerobic sporulating microorganisms in the MPA agar, by 25 deg C and 72 hour. The determination of microorganisms was done to accordance with Codex Alimentaria of the SR. The final results of microorganisms were lower in the group with probiotics. All the treatment meat samples with probiotics corresponded with Codex Alimentaria.
