Population study on the citrus leaf miner Phyllocnistis citrella, citrus defoliators Papilio spp. And Aphids spp. And the natural enemies of citrus insect pests revealed that the larval and pupal parasite, Ageniaspis citricola, was the most effective control of the citrus leaf miner than other parasite species, Pteromalus puparum, the larval and pupal parasite of the citrus defoliators, was observed in very high number of population in all seasons. The aphids, with always found ina high number almost all year round, were under control by a high number of syrphid flies. These three major importance species were brought into the laboratory for further studies on biology, rearing techniques and other aspects to obtained the highest number of populations for releasing in the field under biological control program.
