Inheritance of Some Quontitative Traits by Oriental Tobacco Grosess | Наследяване на някои количествени признаци при хибридни комбинации ориенталски тютюн (N. tobacum)
2009
Masheva, V., Institute of Tobacco and Tobacco Products, Plovdiv (Bulgaria)
The experimental work is carried out in the 2005-2007 period on the field of the Institute of Tobacco and Tobacco Products, Plovdiv. Populations P1, P2, F1 and F2 of the crosses Plovdiv 50 x Kozarsko 541 and Krumovgrad 90 x Krumovgrad 988 were investigated. The assessed parameters were - degree of dominance, minimal number of genes in which the crossed cultivars differ, dominance, epistacy, transgressive variability, coefficients of heritability, coefficients Pp. As a result of the conducted genetic analyses we established that the height of the plants of both crosses varied from foll dominance to partial dominance. It was found that leaf number was inherited additively or with partial dominance to overdominance. The minimum number of genes affecting the character in which the parent cultivars differed was 1-3. As a result of the positive epistatic interaction in the first cross it is possible to expect increase in the level of phenotype expression of these traits, and decrease in the second cross, in comparison to their full additive inheritance.
