The purpose of research is to work out the effective system of tomatoes nutrition growing by resource-saving low-capacity technology on domestic mineral substrates. It has to guarantee more the productivity and fruit quality on the level of imported mineral wool use or higher. The principal possibility of import substitution of substrates of mineral cotton for inorganic bulk solids made of domestic manufacturing raw material: pearlite, agloporite, haydite first has been proved for the conditions in the Republic of Belarus. The new composite substrate of haydite with 5% clay and with improved water properties has been worked out. It allowed to receive the yield increase on 16% comparatively with mineral wool substrates. Nutrition system of tomatoes with different concentration of solution and rates of application according to properties of domestic mineral substrates has been elaborated. It ensures high productivity and fruit quality as well as mineral fertilizers savings on costs. The use of modified haydite or pearlite provided the annual net return of 42,7 or 39,7 thousand of US dollars per hectare that is almost twice higher than on mineral wool.
