Results of the development of the adaptive and landscape technologies of amelioration and use of arable lands as well as system of crop cultivation taking into account water regime, soil cover character and soil fertility for the hilly relief of Poozerje lands of the Republic of Belarus were presented. The field experiment showed that the best conditions for growth and development of the majority of investigated agricultural crops were developed on the lower elements of the hilly relief where soils were characterized by the increased content of humus and nitrogen. However, the productivity of leguminous crops was often reduced in the areas of hill foot because of the overwetting. The basic fodder crops cultivated on the studied areas were perennial leguminous grasses including alfalfa and maize. In was proved that maize cultivation was characterized by high capital costs that proved the necessity of optimization of arable land areas and increasing the yielding capacity of maize crops. It was ascertained that for the purpose of increasing the efficiency of nitrogen fertilizers the doses of their application at the top of the slope should be increased on at least 20% relatively to the bottom elements of the relief. The deficiency of content of individual microelements, first of all, copper, zinc and manganese in crop yields of the cultivated studied lands was proved. Application of mineral fertilizers almost did not exercise negative effect on the content of cadmium in the analyzed plants
