[Processing of the potatoes for the technical purposes]

The conducted research have shown that technical modified potato products can successfully replace modified starch in the oil and gas industry as a reagent for processing of chisel clay solutions and in the paper industry for superficial sizing of paper. The reagent allows to raise considerably mobilizing ability of salty clay solutions and to cut expenses on its production due to of use of cheap raw materials - non-standard small potato. Industrial tests conducted in Association Belarusgeologiya are acknowledgement to reagent working out. Thanks to high stability the reagent can work on depths more than 2 km till 35 days that in 6-7 times more in comparison with the potato starch modified by NaOH and to reduce the reagent cost on of bore heading. The technology of the processing of potatoes aimed at production of the products with technical purposes (reagent for the treatment of loamy saline drill mud and powdered potato product for the dextrin and paper production) has been developed
