[Scab resistance of apple tree scion-rooted seedlings]

The results of the study of scab resistance character in apple tree progenies depending on origin were presented. Studied hybrid fund includes intervarietal cross-breedings on the base of domestic apple tree derived from M. Xfloribunda 821 as well as from the wild species M. sieboldii. Scab resistance analysis was conducted. The progenies of the following apple tree varieties were used: Pamyat Syubarovoj, Rannee Sladkoe, Krasnoe Rannee, Starkrimson, U 1156, Syabryna, Chulanovka, Dzhonafri, Utyos, Imrus, F1 Prima, Kovalenkovskoe, Charaunitsa, Kaunis, Redfri, Mechta, F1 BM 41497, Haralson, Empaer, Golden Delicious, F1 and F2 M. Sieboldii. Scab resistance evaluation was carried out on natural infection background in the selection garden. The most effective and promising cross-breeding combinations on scab resistance were revealed
