[Breeding of short fruit parthenocarpic cucumber for the protected ground]

Work according to initial material, to creation of inbreeding-lines and hybrids F1 short fruit parthenocarpic cucumber of domestic breeding for the protected ground is lead. Among samples of the collection of parthenocarpic cucumber on the general productivity of gherkins and displaying of parthenocrapy the following short fruit hybrids F 1 were allocated: Davista, Kurazh, Marinda, Malchik s palchik, Primadonna, Champion, Ester. However, it is necessary to notice that productivity of long fruit parthenocarpic hybrids F 1 as Belkanto. Babylon, Pamphylia, Prestige in comparison with short fruit was above on 17% on the average. At the analysis of the structure of productivity on size of factor of correlation (r) among parthenocarpic and bees pollinated forms of cucumber it has been established that such feature as productivity of gherkins is closely connected with features of (quantity of pistillate flowers on a plant) and (quantity of fruits). Between quantity of pistillate flowers and productivity from area unit, the correlation factor made: r=O, 80±O, 2, and between quantity of fruits and productivity: г-О, 90±О, 1. High indicators of correlation on productivity are connected with habitus of bush structures–branchiness (determinantness)-r=O, 95±O, 18 and the length of the main shoot - г=О, 80±О, З4. The great influence on the productivity indicator is rendered by such features as complex resistance to diseases: r=0,78±O, 36, duration of the term of fructification-г=О, 86±О,З
