[The current state and prospects of development of farms of poultry meat production in the Grodno area]

The current status of poultry meat production in the Grodno region is analyzed. The main spare that is offered to use is the intensive development methods of reconstruction and technical modernization of meat production poultry factories. As well it is offered to change specialization of three meat production poultry factories of the Grodno region. Till 2010 year main results in changes of specialization will be increasing of broilers meat production on poultry factories on 22 thousand tons. Thus small decreasing in eggs production on separate factories will be compensated due to their more intensive production at specialized factories of egg direction from 214 million to 266 million. Thus realization of such complex measures will allow completely provide needs of population of region with poultry meat and take using of poultry meat average per capita to level of recommended norms of balanced diet and guarantee profitable direction of poultry farming in region with profitability not less than 20 per cent
