Results of research of the protective role of proteolytic enzymes inhibitors in course of plant seeds (soybean (Glycine max L.); blue lupine (Lupinus angustifolius L.); yellow lupine (Lupinus luleus L.); Washington lupine (Lupinus polyphyllus L.); barley (Hordeum vulgare L.); pea (Pisum sativum); potato (Solanum tuberosum L.)) interaction with the phytopathogenic bacteria (Fusarium, Colletotrichum and Helminthsporum) realized in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus were presented. In course of the investigation it was revealed that proteinase inhibitors of diffusing liquid medium oppressed the spore germination and development of growth tubes of Fusarium oxysporum on 45-62% and Helminthsporum teres – on 72-82%. Research results showed that proteolytic enzymes inhibitors action caused the valid increasing of electrolytes concentration in the solution (on 25%) that could be the result of the extraction of spore internal content because of the integrity damage of cell plasmalemma. In course of the investigation it was proved that protein proteinase inhibitors served the protective role in the process of plant and pathogen interaction. That was realized due to the activation of proteolytic enzymes of pathogens, presumably, by means of enzymes bonding into an inactive complex. On the other hand, action of the natural inhibitors caused the distortion of the pathogenic cell membranes integrity by means of changing their permeability
