[Ecological structure of the rove beetle (Coleoptera, Staphylinidae) associations in different biocoenosis of the Mid-Pripyat nature reserve]

For the first time in the Republic of Belarus on the territory of Mid-Pripyat (Srednyaya Pripyat) biosphere nature reserve representing the unique floodplain ecosystem of the Pripyat river with the population of rare and endangered plants and game there was realized the investigation of the ecological structure of rove beetle (Coleoptera, Staphylinidae) associations by their habitat requirements and hygropreferences. The species inhabiting the forest litter as well epigeobionts predating on the soil level dominated in the forest biocoenoses. Mycetobionts were typical for the spectrum of life-forms in forest biocenoses. Presence of Psammocolimbets coastal and torphobionts species characterized the open forest biocoenoses of the nature reserve as the typically inundated. The spectrum of life forms in open biocenoses included a number of groups typical for both forest and open biocenoses. But species composition of open biocoenoses groups in the majority of cases was formed by absolutely different species in comparison with the forest biocoenoses. In the spectrum of Staphylinidae life-forms there were stated groups typical for the open moist biotopes and bogs but represented, as a rule, by the small number of rare in that area species. Analysis of the ecological group spectrum showed that the eurytopic forest species dominated in the forest biocenoses, and stenotopic paludicolous species dominated in open biocenoses
