[Meat productivity of black-motley young cows and Hereford hybrids]

The article examines questions of increasing the level of meat productivity and improving the quality of produced beef depending on the content of energy in rations of Hereford black-and-motley bulls while creating a beef cattle herd. It was that crossing of black-and-motley breed with Hereford one helps to increase natural resistibility of organism in crossbred animals. Crossbred Hereford black-and-motley bulls should be intensively grown with size of daily average gain 1000 g and more at maintenance of a diet by exchange energy on 100 kg of live weight 19,5 MJ and above, that promotes increase in level of meat efficiency. Black-motley bulls of the same age had more low a daily average gain on 9,8%, weight of the carcass - on 24,3%, an output of the carcass - on 2,9% , an meat index - on 22 1% under identical conditions of growing with Hereford black-and-motley bulls
