Vegetables farmers attitudes towards applying some decisions regarding agricultural policy in economics liberazation stage in Ismailia Governorate

The aims of this study was to determine the attitudes level of respondents towards each of the studied decisions. Determine degrees of the respondents' attitudes towards each of the studied decisions. Determine the relationship between degrees of the respondents attitudes towards each of the studied decisions and each of the following independent variables age, educational level, number of family members, land possession, exposure to Agr. information, sources, civic exposure, social participation formal and informal. Determine the difference between degrees of the respondents attitudes towards the studied decisions in pairs. Data were collected form a systematic random sample consisted of 120 vegetables farmers' chosen from four villages in Ismailia Governorate. The main results of this study revealed that, above 75% from farmers have negative attitudes towards gradual transition in role of the bank for development and agricultural credit and removal of farm input subsidies, the percentage of respondents towards each of them was 80.8% and 79.2%, respectively above 50% from farmers have positive attitudes towards canceling the system of compulsory governmental marketing of agricultural crops and restricting the role of the agriculture ministry to the agricultural research and extension only where the percentage of respondents towards each of them was 65% and 55.0%, respectively. There were positive correlations between the degrees which represent respondents' attitude towards some of the studied decisions and exposure to information's sources, civic exposure and educational level. There were negative correlations, between the degrees which represent respondents' attitudes towards some of the studied decisions, age and land possession.
