Source salinity of water and soil is the important difficult in planting crop in arid and semi-arid zone. In this study 116 F2 and 124 F3 barley segregating populations were planted in salinity stress conditions. Each population planted on 6 rows with 4 m length and 20 cm row spacing. The selection method used in this experiment was modified-bulk. The experiment fields in a way that represent electrical conductivity of the regional soils and irrigated with river water before spring season ad saline water (EC=12 ds\\m) during the spring . During growth period pest and disease outbreaks were considered and recorded. Some traits such as number fertile heading, date of physiological maturity, and plant height were noted down. Ultimately, the best single plants were selected and their spike separated and pounded. The seeds will be planting in the next year. The grain yield of each accession harvested and weighted.
