Study on effect of plant density and different Nitrogen levels on the yield and yield component of Hybrid rice (GHR١)

In order to study on effect of N fertilizer and plant density on yield and yield component of hybrid rice an experiment was conducted in rice research institute of IRAN in 2003-2004.Results showed that treatments had significant effects on traits. The best yield was related to 135 kg N/ha in 25×25 cm plant space. Interaction of These factors were significant in relation to number of tillers, Plant height and number of filled grains per panicle. Qualitative traits like amlylose content and milling recovery were not significant in different two years. Means comparison showed that response to fertilizer was very high in particular yield. The best yield was about 7,6 t/ha for N3S3 (25×25 cm).
