This experiment was conducted to study the effect of flushing supplemet diet contained differenet levels of energy and protein on the reproductive performance of ewes. In a completely randomized experiment with factorial arrangement (3x3), nine different diets contained three levels (2.8, 2.28, 2.65 Mcal/kg) of metabolizable ernrgy (ME) each with three levels (10, 13, 16%) of crude protein (CP) were fed to 9 groups of Native (Dalagh) sheep each with 50 animlas. Results showed that feeding of flushing supplement diets during four weeks increased the estrous rate, conception rate, lambing rate and the number of weaning lambs (p0.01) but the live weight of lambs at lambing and weaning (3 month age) were not affected by the flushing diet of their dams. However, utilization of flushing ration increased the body weight of sheep when compared to the control (p0.01). The highest reproductive performance was obtained when the sheep received diet contained high ME- high CP ration.
