To investigate and determine of diameter growth rate of forest significant species in the study area, there were accomplished project by using MEYER method with respect to the importance of Fagus orientalis which appears in Shastkola forests as dominant species. For this purpose, number 10 plots 0.5 hectar were selected and then the trees existing in each plot were harvested based on quantitative and qualitative tables. For each diameter class, number 5 or more seedlings growth were measured. Results obtained are as below: 1-Trees located at the above layer and dominant condition have the best quality of stem. 2-Trees located at the up layer in dominant and codominant layer have isomerous crown, health and they are full development. 3-Amount of K (diameter with bark over diameter without bark ratio,k were calculated 1.025 4-Mean annual diameter growth is 0.33 Cm. 5- Mean annual volum growth is 2.13 silve per hectar per year.
