The Effect of Planting Date on Assimilate Partitioning of Corn Hybrids Canopy.

In order to evaluate yield potential of corn hybids at different regions and impact of pattern assimilate partitioning via density and planting date over it,and also providing input data for CERES- Maize modle, this study was carried out at seven research sites .Two split factorial experiment were done basise on randomized complet block design with three replications .Three planting dates(T1:early,T2:optimum and T3:late planting date) were as main plots and factorial of three densities (D1:minimum ,D2:optimum and D3 maximum density)and two hybrid cultivars(260 S.C and 302 S.C in corn early group maturity ,700S.C and 647 S.C in corn late group maturity respectively) were subplots. In this study daily solar radiation were simulated by use of weather data. Because of insufficient registed data,calibration and evaluation of CERES- Maize modle (DSSAT) was impossible.Source of variation had significant different effects on investigated characteristics.Partitioning coefficient of stem ,leaf ,tasel and ear at differentlocation were different. Assimilate partitioning pattern for different organs at different phenolgy stages were varied .Planting date and density changed development stages . Assimilate partitioning for early group was different as compaired to late mature group and corn yield were affectes by these parameters .Determination of precious management options are needed for extension of corn planting areas.Crop simulated models facilates this process .
