A 17-month-old male Welsh corgi Pembroke presented with a three-week history of hematuria. An ultrasonographic examination of the urinary bladder revealed a marked thickening of the wall and remarkable unevenness of its mucosal surface. Treatment with antibiotics and hemostatics produced no clinical improvement. A partial resection of the bladder wall was performed for a histopathological examination one month after admission, and the lesion was diagnosed as embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma. The dog's condition gradually worsened and it died about two months after admission.
