The results of the tests of the bacterial preparation Rizosideps on soybean plants are described in this paper. The preparation was obtained from an active strain of Pseudomonas aureofaciens isolated from soybean rhizosphere. Soybean seeds were treated before sowing with Rizosideps diluted in the proportion of 1:50. It was found that Rizosideps provided an increase in yield by 18 percent in comparison with the control. All yield components and grain quality also increased: the number of soybeans per plant - 31 percent; their weight - 20; average seed weight per plant-19, thousand-seed weight-7; protein content constituted 36,2 percent (17 percent more than in the control); oil content - 17,7. The content of the trace element copper increased by 12 percent in leaves, whereas in grains no changes in copper content were registered.
