In experiments carried out in 1997-1```2000 the influence of irrigation and cultivation system on the yielding components and grain sowing value of spring barley was investigated. It was stated, that irrigation and cultivation systems affected yielding components as a rule independently. Irrigation increased the number of spikes per area unit and weight of 1000 grains. Cultivation systems increased the number of spikes per area unit and decreased weight of 1000 grains with increasing the intensity of cultivation. The number of grains in spike the largest was in integrated system. Grain yield was the most correlated with the number of spikes per 1 square m. Irrigation, as well as, cultivation according organic and integrated system increased the share in yield of the largest fraction of grain (diameter above 2.75 mm). Only cultivation systems changed the sowing value of grain. Systems of higher cultivatoin intensity worsened the quality of sowing materials
