The objective of this study was to determine whether 2 percent of clynoptilolite and 3 percent of a herbal mixture added to diets for sows influence their productive traits and levels of selected milk components. The experiment was carried out on 100 sows, divided into 5 groups. Herbal mixtures comprised of sweet balm, rosemary, oregano, sweet basil, fennel fruits, ginsening root and lyophilized garlic may constitute a valuable dietary supplement in sow nutrition. The zeolite additive increased the levels of Ca, K and Na in sow's milk, with no influence on micromineral content. Irrespective of the kind of diet fed to sows, a tendency towards a decrease in the majority of macroelements (excluding Na) and an increase in Zn level in milk were noted with the progress of lactation (7 vs. 21 days of lactation)
