The mixing system is the most important part of the feed carrier. This system prepares feed in homogeneous ration, so it makes more difficult for cows to separate and sort the ingredients to pick out their favourite food. The well mixed rations enable to ensure that the cows eat balanced feed, this is optimizing for the milk production. In the paper the horizontal mixing systems in feed carriers were presented
