The genotype - environment interaction in point of spring soft wheat has been under study at the conditions of the controlled agroecosystem. The influence of a photoperiod and a low positive temperature has been learnt. It is found experimentally that a short day and a low positive temperature elongated the period from germination to earing that would change the maturation date. The method specific character is that the estimation of light and temperature influence on the plants is separate for the periods from germination to stalk-shooting and from stalk-shooting to earing. Another specific character is that vernalization is included in the whole ontogenetic period. The breeding worth of Leningradskaya rannya, Azakage kotiki varieties and AFI-M-1 lines is analyzed at the base of above mentioned experimental data. These wheat varieties can be used as donors of early maturation in different climatic zones.
