Methods for the determination of total and free aminoacids in animal feedingstuffs were implemented with the financial support from the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Food in years 2204 and 2005 at KIS. Methods are caraple Of analyzing the following amino acids in feedingstuffs: asparagine oz. asparatic acid, serine, glutamine oz. glutamic acid, glycine, histidine, sum of cysteine and cystine, arginine, threonine, alanine, proline, tyrosine, valine, methionine, lysine, izoleucine, leucine and phenylalanine. Analytical procedure tracks 98/64 EC with minor modification. 26 samples of animal feedingstuffst were analysed for aminoacids methionine, lysine or cysteine in the year 2005. Among them in 4 samples the values of lysine or methionine were too low comparing to declaration.
