Objectives of the present experiment were to study the effect of dietary green tea waste (GTW) supplementation on dry matter intake, milk production and milk compositions in cross-bred lactating cows. Six cross-bred lactating cows were used in the experiment. They were randomly divided into three groups. A double Latin Square (3*3) design was used in this study. Each period lasted for 25 days. The concentrations of GTW in control diet and two treatment diets were 0 percent, 5 percent and 10 percent (DM basis) respectively. No effects of GTW supplementation on feed intake and milk yield. Compare to 5 percent GTW group, feed efficiency was reduced (P LT 0.05) when 10 percent GTW ration was fed. Milk protein percentage was increased (P LT 0.05) in cows fed with 10 percent GTW in comparison to the control. It was concluded that supplementation of GTW in TMR can be used as an animal feed resource without any detrimental effects on the performance of lactating cows.
