The study achievements are the collaborating results between Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and Fruit and Vegetable Research Institute during 2001 -2002. The study results could be summarized as follows: Identified some off - season vegetable varieties in nethouses and open field including: Lai Bach 48 Chinese cabbage; Lai Bach 40 Chinese cabbage; New Red Line curl lettuce, VR2 cherry tomaro; No. 5 Chinese yardlongbean. Issued technical protocols for some vegetables in nethouses such as chili, cauliflower, lettuce, yard long bean. Recommended off season vegetable production techniques (leafy vegetable and spicy crops) in open field using net tunnels which are suitable for farmers' afford. Recommended rotation systems in nethouses to limit pests and diseases, increasing vegetable yield and quality. The vegetable demonstrations in nethouses and open fields was the places for farmers to have field visits, study tours.
