The involvement of nitric oxide (NO) and cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) in cold stress-induced signaling pathway in Arabidopsis thaliana were researched. 10-days seedlings of Arabidopsis thaliana of Columbia-0 ecotype were used for the experiment. The influence of low temperatures (0, 5, 10 C degrees) on endogenous formation of NO with addition of metabolism ferments and without this ferments were compared and analyzed. The influence of low temperatures on concentration of cyclic guanosine monophosphate in the seedlings of Arabidopsis thaliana was measured also. Kinetic and inhibitory analysis has shown the correlation between alteration dynamics of NO and cGMP content in the plants of Arabidopsis thaliana. Cold stress was shown to induce an increase in endogenous content of NO produced by nitrate reductase and followed by the activation of guanylyl cyclase and cGMP synthesis
