QTL analysis of flowering related traits in maize under different water regimes

صينى. 干旱是影响玉米产量最重要的因素。对玉米抗旱相关性状数量性状位点(QTL)进行分析有助于阐明玉米抗旱的遗传机制,为高效的抗旱育种提供基础。利用玉米A188×91黄15的139个F2:3家系,在新疆和北京两年对不同水分条件下的开花相关性状(抽雄天数、吐丝天数、开花天数、开花吐丝间隔期ASI)进行了QTL分析。共检测到26个QTL与水分充足条件下的开花相关性状有关,LOD值在2.62~8.40,解释的表型变异范围为9.1%~43.2%,在第8染色体的bnlg1176标记区域检测到一个QTL控制抽雄、吐丝和开花时间。同时,检测到6个QTL与水分胁迫下的开花相关陛状有关,LOD值在2.6~5.6,解释的表型变异范同为9.5%~58.O%,也在bnlgll76标记区域检测到控制抽雄和吐丝的QTL,解释的表型变异分别为16.6%和20.5%。在第8染色体的bnlg1176标记区域共检测到不同年份不同水分条件下控制抽雄、吐丝、开花和ASI的8个QTL,效应值均较高,可以推断这个区域为控制开花性状的重要区域,其标记有辅助选择的应用价值。[著者文摘]

QTL analysis for related traits under water stress will facilitate the understanding of genetic mechanisms of drought tolerance and provide the basis of marker-assisted selection. The present study conducted QTL analysis of flowering-related traits including days to tasseling, days to silking, days to anthesis and anthesis to silking interval (ASI) under different water regimes in Xinjiang and Beijing, using 139 F2:3 families of A188 x 91 Huang 15. Totally 26 QTL were found to be associated with the flowering-related traits under normal water conditions, with the range of LOD of 2.62 - 8.40 and the range of pheno- typic variance explained of 9.1% - 43.2%. A QTL located near the marker "bnlg1176" on chromosome 8 controlled days to tasseling, days to silking and days to anthesis. Meanwhile, six QTL were found to be associated with the flow- ering-related traits under drought stress, with the range of LOD of 2.6 - 5.6 and the range of phenotypic variance explained of 9.5% - 58.0%. A QTL also located near the marker "bnlg1176" on chromosome 8 controlled days to tasseling and days to silking, which could explain 16.6% and 20.5% of phenotypic variance. The genomic region near bnlg1176 on chromosome 8 is presumed to be an important region because eight QTL were found.
