RESUMEN STUDY ON THE INCLUSION OF FRESH FOLIAGE OF Morus alba L. cultivar ACORAZONADA IN DIETS FOR PIGS | ESTUDIO DE LA INCLUSIÓN DEL FOLLAJE FRESCO DE Morus alba L. VARIEDAD ACORAZONADA EN DIETAS PORCINAS

Se estimó el comportamiento productivo de los animales al incluir o no el follaje de morera: consumo del follaje, ganancia diaria, conversión alimentaria por morera y conversión alimentaria total. También fueron utilizadas 10 cerdas con un peso promedio de 180 kg de peso vivo para el segundo experimento, con distintas fases reproductivas alimentadas ad libitum con follaje de morera fresca, para determinar el consumo de la oferta. Igualmente, se usó para el tercer experimento la misma cantidad de cerdas utilizadas en el segundo con la inclusión o no del follaje de morera y se midieron los indicadores reproductivos: total de cerditos nacidos y muertos a las 48 horas, peso de los cerditos 0 y 10 días después de nacidos, peso total de la camada 0 y 10 días de nacidos, peso al destete, porcentaje de viabilidad y morbilidad de los cerditos a las 48 horas de nacidos, así como la presencia o no de diarrea en los cerditos.

إنجليزي. The estimation of performance traits was made when mulberry foliage was introduced or not in the diet: foliage consumption, daily gain, feed conversion due to mulberry, and total. In experiment 2, 10 sows averaging 180 kg live weight and fed ad libitum fresh foliage of mulberry in order to determine feed intake. Similarly, a third experiment was conducted with the same number of sows used in experiment 2, considering the introduction or not of fresh mulberry foliage in the diet for estimating reproductive parameters: total piglets born alive and death at 48 hours after farrowing, piglet weight at 0 and 10 days old, litter weight at 0 and 10 days after farrowing, as well as weaning weight and percentage of viability and morbility of animals when 48 hours old, and presence of diarrhea in piglets.
