COMPATIBILIDAD DE ESPECIES MADERABLES DE LA EMPRESA LA PALMA PARA FORMAR AGLOMERADOS CON CEMENTO

Se presentan los resultados en los estudios para definir la afinidad de la madera con el cemento Portland de algunas especies que crecen en el área perteneciente a la Empresa Integral Forestal La Palma, en Pinar del Río, con el objetivo de realizar recomendaciones de usos de los residuos compatibles en la elaboración de ecomateriales. Se empleó el método basado en la medición de la temperatura máxima de hidratación de las muestras patrón y el cálculo del coeficiente de aptitud. Se encontró que las especies encino, moruro, yamagua, cedro y macurije resultaron muy buenas, con coeficientes de aptitud por encima de 80%, mientras que majagua, guásima y pomarrosa se catalogan como buenas con indicador de compatibilidad de 65%. La madera de teca, caoba, tengue y almácigo registraron valores del coeficiente menor de 50%, lo que las clasifican como malas.

إنجليزي. This paper presented the results obtained in order to define the suitability with Portland cement of some wood species that grow at The Palma Forest Integral Company areas. The main objective was to carry out recommendations of this suitable material for their employment in the ecomaterials manufacturing. The method was based on mensuration of the maximum temperature of hydrate of the samples pattern and it proves and the calculation of the aptitude coefficient. It was found that the species Encino, moruro, yamagua,cedro and macurije were very good with aptitude coefficient above 80% while the majagua, guasima and pomarrosa are classified as good with coefficient bigger than 65%. Teak, mahogany, tengue and almacigo registered values smaller than 50%, classified as bad.
