الأسبانية؛ قشتالية. Se determinó el tiempo necesario para que un suelo infestado con Heterodera amaranthi quede libre del nemátodo en ausencia de plantas hospedantes. El numero de quistes en el suelo dismmuyo a 50 por ciento en 5 años, hasta 6,3 por ciento de la población inicial a los 10. La cantidad de larvas y huevos dento de los quistes descendió a 50 por ciento en los primeros 3 años y, llegó a cero a los 10. Las larvas mantuvieron alta viabilidad y poder de infestación hasta los 3 años, capacidades que desaparecieron a los 10. Los quistes perdieron su color carmelita oscuro y tomaron una tonalidad amarillenta entre los 9 y los 10 años; así mismo, se tornaron menos resistentes y más frágiles.

The number of cysts diminished to 50 percent of initial population in 5 years, and to only 6,3 percent of the population in 10 years. The amount of larvae and eggs within the cysts diminished to 50 percent in the first 3 years, and it was zero in 10 years. Larvae maintained their viabilityand infestant capacity during 3 years, and these were zero in 10 years. Cysts lost their dark brown characteristic colour and got a yellowish appearance between 9 and 10 years; and turned fragile and less resistant.
