Evaluación de la resistencia a enfermedades y caracterización morfoagrónomica de líneas promisorias de tabaco negro

الأسبانية؛ قشتالية. La calidad del tabaco negro (Nicotiana tabacum L.) en Cuba, desde siempre, ha sido reconocida por todos como la mejor del mundo. La resistencia a las principales enfermedades y la obtención de altos rendimientos motivó la ejecución de un programa de mejoramiento por selección genealógica, a partir de un cruzamiento entre la variedad comercial de tabaco Connecticut 'S-98', de procedencia norteamericana, y la variedad comercial de tabaco negro cubano 'Habana-2000'. Se observó, con respecto al testigo, que todas las líneas presentaron diferencias significativas en cuanto a los caracteres morfológicos medidos y resultaron resistentes al moho azul y a la pata prieta. Dentro de ellas se seleccionaron 'L-4.2' y 'L-10.4' como líneas altamente promisorias, por presentar mayor número de hojas, con una mayor longitud y anchura y por poseer, además, alto grado de resistencia a las dos enfermedades seleccionadas.

Resistance to the main tobacco diseases obtaining high yields motivate the execution of a genetic and breeding program of genealogical selection, starting from a crossing between the American commercial tobacco variety Connecticut 'S-98' and the dark Cuban commercial tobacco variety 'Habana-2000', In relation to the witness, it was observed that all the fines presented significant differences according to the measured morphological characters and all they were resistant to blue mold and black shank. 'L-4.2' and 'L-10.4' lines were selected as highly promissory lines, because it not only has the highest number, length and width of leaves, but also the highest resistance degree to blue mold and black shank.
