Elevated luteal activity immediately following parturition reduces the reproductive performance in terms of prolonged anestrus that results in serious economic constraints to buffalo breeders. The present study was undertaken with the objective to investigate the changes in pituitary responsiveness to synthetic GnRH in 15 lactating buffaloes at 25_35 days post-partum.
