Dificit irrigation is one of the methods for increase planting area in regions such as Khouzestan. In order to assessment difficit irrigation effect on sorghum forage yied, this experiment . was carried out in randomized complete block design with four irrigation level including full irrigation, 85, 70 and 55 percent of full irrigation as main plot and three sorghum varieties speed feed, KFS2, KFS4 as sub plots with three replication in two 2006 and 2007 growing seasons. Analyses of variance were showed significant difference for yield and other factors. As Irrigation were reduced form full to 85 , 70 and 55 percent, plant hight 49.4 centimeter, till per plant 1.8 number , 308 leaf area index, leaf rate stem 0.9 percent, fresh and dry ton per hectar were redused. Speed feed variety with 89.5 mean stem elongation, 2.1 till per plant , 3.3 leaf area index, 2.2 percent leaf to stem, 40.1 and 9.7 ton per hectar fresh and dry yield was the best cultivar, in a group, KFS2 and KFS4 with 36.3 , 8.4 and 32.0 , 7.4 ton per hectar fresh and dry yield were in other b and c groups. Irrigation and varities interaction also has significant difference , in 5% and 1% level for frash and dry yield. As so as irrigation was reduced the yield also reduced and in all irrigation level speed feed varity was superior . water use efficiency in full irrigation and other three stress levels were 94.3, 76.1, 79.3 and 53.4 percent respectively. Finllay speed feed variety with 70 to 85 percent rather than full irrigation were recommended if there was water limitation.
